Perma Plaques FAQ's
What can be
Perma Plaqued?
Perma Plaque can laminate virtually all flat
materials up to 1/8 inch thick, such as paper,
parliment. diplomas, photographs, news articles,
licenses, drawings, and even children's artwork.
What can not be Perma Plaqued?
We cannot Perma Plaque items including
film negatives, some wax based crayon drawings,
those over 1/8 inch thick, and those mounted
with contact cement or certain glues.
How thick is the wood that is used?
We only use primium1/2 inch hardwood for each
plaque.
What sizes are offered for the plaques?
We can Perma Plaque items as small as a
postage stamp, and as large as a 27" x 30"
poster. Whatever size the item may be, it
will be surrounded by a 1¼
inch border.
Are there other personalizing options?
We offer a variety of personalizing options.
Plaques are offered in any of our 16 different
colors: blonde, beige, oak, walnut, yellow,
orange, gold, red, magenta, mahogony, green
blue-green, peacock blue, bright blue, royal
blue, and ebony. The standard 1/8 inch
trim is either gold or silver, but almost every
other color is available at no extra charge.
Standard beveling and deep beveling is also at
no extra charge. Finally, we offer two
separate finishes for our plaques, either
standard glossy or non-glare matte, at no extra
charge.
